Kenneth Ray Burns, born December 1, 1957, age 61, went to be with the Lord while resting peacefully Wednesday November 20, 2019, at his home in Atlanta Texas. He was a resident of Atlanta TX.

Kenneth Ray Burns is preceded in death by his father Bennie Ray Burns. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Burns of Atlanta TX; mother Ora James of Atlanta TX; sons Clay Burns and wife Victoria of Atlanta TX, and Sonny Burns of Linden TX; sisters Charlotte Knoll and husband Ken of Bossier City LA, and Debbie Coffman and husband Coy of New Boston TX; and three grandchildren Ashtyn, Adelyn, and Wyatt Burns of Atlanta TX; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins

Kenneth spent a lifetime operating heavy equipment and loved spending time outdoors. His passion for horses started at a young age and never faded throughout his life. Kenneth raised and trained many award-winning race and barrel horses. He was always willing to help coach riders to improve their abilities.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 2pm at Cross Creak Cowboy Church in Atlanta TX.
