Joni E Farmer June 26, 1964 - May 25, 2017 Joni Farmer age 52 of Atlanta TX gained her wings and went to be with the Lord May 25th, 2017 after battling cancer. Joni was full of life and enjoyed every moment of it. She enjoyed her family and friends. She enjoyed growing flowers, vegetables, and taking care of her farm animals. She enjoyed canning her own vegetables. She never met a stranger. She talked to everybody and was loved by everyone. She would have been perfect living in the 1900's with her farm life. Joni was born June 26, 1964 in Lincoln Nebraska to Neil and Betsy Hanson. She worked at International Paper, Domestic Violence, Brookshires, and Break of Day Restaurant until she became ill. She was a Christian by faith and enjoyed her family and friends. She was a friend to everyone that walked by. She was preceded in death by her dad Neil Hanson. She is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Mark Farmer of Atlanta TX (they were always side by side on the farm); mother Betsy Hanson of Queen City; daughters Katelyn Howard and husband David of Atlanta TX, Danielle Farmer of Peoria AZ, Amanda Ford and husband Tony of Goodyear AZ, and Jessica Farmer of Phoenix AX; sons Jay Hanson of Atlanta TX and Charles Taylor and wife Ashley of Texarkana TX; twin sister Judy Evans and husband John of Linden TX, and sister Kellie Dutton and husband William of Queen City TX; brother Jimmy Hanson of Queen City TX; six grandchildren David Tank Howard, Ethan Cash Howard, Shannon Taylor, Grant Taylor, Ava Ford, and Allison Ford; two special friends Barbara Williams and Martha Faye Roquermore; numerous nephews and nieces; and lots of special friends and neighbors Joni will be cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held in her honor June 3, 2017 at her home located at 2320 CR 4223 Atlanta TX, beginning at 1:00 PM and followed by a potluck dinner. Flowers may be sent to her home.
