Lynn Prim July 20,1940 - August 21, 2019 Lynn Primm, born July 20, 1940, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 21, 2019,at his home in Atlanta, TX surrounded by family and friends. Lynn Primm is preceded in death by his parents, David Otto and Barbara Lerlene (Snider) Primm;brother John Primm; and sister Carolyn Primm. He is survived by wife Clara (Powell) Primm; sons Perry Primm and wife Samantha Sherman of Houston TX, Pierce Primm and wife Jennifer of Pinehurst TX, and Todd Primm and wife Elizabeth of Huntsville TX; brothers David Primm of Eldorado AR, Charles Primm and wife Evelyn of Atlanta TX; and sister Marilyn Primm of Camden AR; and nine grandchildren, Sidney, Mekenzie, Jacob, Pierce Jr., Parker, Joshua, Clarissa, Abigail and Jonathan. Lynn graduated from Fairview High School (Camden, AR) in 1958 and then attended the University of Arkansas where he obtained his Chemical Engineering Degree in August, 1962. After graduation, Lynn went to work for International Paper Company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Mobile, Alabama and finally made it to Texas to the Domino Paper Mill from which he retired in 1995. Lynn was also a cattle rancher, enjoyed golfing with friends and loved to sing in the Master's Men and Choir at First Baptist Church, Atlanta TX where he served for many years. Lynn was united in holy matrimony with Clara (Powell) Primm on June 15, 1963. This marriage blessed Lynn and Clara with three sons, Perry, Pierce, and Todd Primm. Lynn's services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held in his honor, Friday, August 23, 2019, at Queen City Funeral Home, beginning at 7:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM. A Celebration will be held at First Baptist Church at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 24, 2019, followed by a private grave-side service beginning at 4:30 PM at Smyrna Cemetery for family members.
